Car-sharing platforms are on the rise in Italy. As of 2019, the three major players in terms of fleet size were Sharenow, Enjoy, and Share'ngo, with several smaller, local companies springing up. In Europe, there are over 60,000 car-sharing platforms, and there are over 6.75 million Europeans signed up as members on such platforms.
