*On January 3, 2017, Hilton Worldwide completed the spin-offs of a portfolio of hotels and resorts, as well as its timeshare business, into two independent, publicly traded companies: Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. ("Park") and Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. ("HGV"), respectively, (the"spin-offs").

Following the spin-offs, Hilton Worldwide do not report a timeshare segment, as the company no longer has timeshare operations.

Owned and leased hotel revenues decreased during the year ended December 31, 2017 compared to the year ended December 31, 2016, as a result of unfavorable foreign currency changes.
