Global annual growth in nuclear energy consumption 2024, by country
Nuclear consumption increased by *** percent worldwide in 2024 compared to the previous year. Belarus experienced the largest growth by far, at roughly percent in comparison to the previous year. United Arab Emirates and Argentina followed with the second and third largest growth, at around and percent, respectively. By comparison, Germany (which phased out nuclear energy in 2023) had the greatest consumption decline of ****percent.
