Online game spending refers to Chinese online gamers' expenses on online game producs and services; online games include large client games, platform games, webgames and social games; online game revenue refers to the total revenue that all Chinese online game companies gain from online game products and services, excluding revenue from mobile internet and ads and including players' expenses on online games, R&D expenses and agency fees among enterprises in the industry, outsourcing fees of related game contents and profits of overseas agents and operation authorization fees.
The data were caculated and estimated in line with the financial results published by enterprises, interviews with experts and iResearch statistical forecast model.
