According to a survey in 2024, the most sought after physician by their specialty were physicians in family medicine, followed by OBGYNs. The average starting salary for primary care physicians stood at 271,000 U.S. dollars, while Gastroenterologists had a starting salary of 531,000 U.S. dollars.
