China's toy exports
China is by far the world's largest toy exporter. In 2023, China exported more than ** billion U.S. dollars worth of toys, games, and sports requisites, eclipsing the United States in second place with around *** billion dollars in exports. In 2024, the United States was China's largest toy export destination, taking up more than a quarter of China’s total toy exports. Additionally, a large share of toys exported from China were also shipped to Western Europe and other East Asian countries.
Leading toy exporting regions in China
Guangdong province, home to around **toy companies, remains China's leading region of toy manufacture and exports. In recent years, around ** percent of the toy exports from China originated from there. Other major toy exporting provinces included Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Shandong, and Henan.
