A 2025 survey conducted in multiple waves across the United States found that over the course of just six months, consumer interest in AI-written movies and TV shows dropped by percentage points, to a net share of negative ** percent. While every single generation was less likely to be interested in a production they knew was written using generative AI, Millennials were most receptive to the concept, while over **** of Boomers rejected it.
