Following Q1 2026 earnings, Wall Street analysts sharply revised their hyperscaler capex estimates upward, with 2026 estimates rising to between 800 and 900 billion U.S. dollars. Among individual companies, Microsoft saw the largest revision, with its 2026 capex plan raised 24 percent to 190 billion U.S. dollars, while Alphabet was revised up four percent to 185 billion U.S. dollars, Amazon one percent to 200 billion U.S. dollars, and Meta eight percent to 135 billion U.S. dollars.
