According to a 2024 survey, respondents aged over 65 years were more likely than other age groups to feel that mental health issues are treated worse than physical issues. Over 80 percent of over 65-year-olds felt mental health issues were treated worse, compared to 66 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds.
