This chart presents the results of a survey on video game development studios choosing self-publishing in France in 2014 and 2022. The results show that 38 percent of studios chose to self-publish their video games in 2022, compared to 47 percent in 2021. Self-publishing a game means that a development studio forgoes the help of a publisher in the distribution process of its games.
