Distribution of professional training by certification obtained in France 2016
Lifelong learning or continuing education can be offered in various formats to individuals wishing to participate and can notably lead to obtaining a certification (non-degree) which may be mandatory to practice a profession. Information on the distribution of non-formal professional training undertaken by the French active population in 2016, according to whether a certification was obtained or not, is provided in the report on training and employment by INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies). In 2016, more than ** percent of training did not result in obtaining a certification.
