According to the Ministry of National Education, lifelong learning is a gateway allowing individuals who wish to acquire new knowledge or skills. In its 2018 report on training and employment, INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies) presents data on the proportion of French people who participated in professional training during the past twelve months, according to their situation in the labor market. It is thus revealed that nearly ** percent of respondents who were employed at the time of the survey had undergone training during the previous twelve months.
