A few days before the first round of the presidential elections, nearly ** percent of people aged 25 to 34 intended to abstain according to a survey conducted by Ipsos. This was the age group with the highest abstention rate, followed by the 18-24 age group. In contrast, the 60-69 age category was the one most likely to vote; indeed, only ** percent of voters in their sixties intended to abstain.
