This survey represents the opinion of the French on the main qualities necessary for an immigrant to integrate into their country.
The most important is the language, which 89 percent consider important to master. Then comes the feeling of belonging to the nation for 78 percent, as well as the acceptance of the norms and values of French society for 77 percent of respondents.
However, while obtaining citizenship remains important for a majority of French people, it is considered a less crucial factor.
