Purchases on desktop computers (notebooks and laptops) are included in this definition as well as purchases on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. The following are excluded from the e-commerce market: services distributed digitally (see in this case the category: eServices), goods distributed digitally in B2B markets, and digital purchases or resale of used, defective, or repaired goods (re-commerce and C2C). The e-commerce market includes the following product categories: clothing and footwear, consumer electronics and physical media, food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, furniture and home appliances, and special interests.
