According to a survey conducted among Australian adults regarding the social media ban for under-16s passed by the Federal Parliament in December 2024, around ** percent of respondents who are parents said they were in favor of the restrictions. Non-parents were only slightly less supportive of the ban, at just over ** percent of those surveyed without children.
