According to a survey conducted in August 2023, the top 25 percent of heavy users of TikTok in the United States posted 98 percent of the public videos on the platform. While only two percent of public content was contributed by the bottom 75 percent of adults who were not active users of the video sharing app. Around six percent of U.S. adults consider full-time content creation on TikTok as their profession as of March 2024.
