The Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations was conducted through an online panel from October 31 to November 20, 2024. Follow-up phone interviews took place from November 25 to December 3, 2024.

In the final quarter of 2024, around ** percent of consumers in Canada said that they were expecting to increase their spending on restaurants and entertainment. This was an increase compared to consumer expectations in the third quarter of the same year.Â
