Possible coalitions based on provisional seats won in the German election 2025
According to the provisional results of the German Federal Election, held on February 23, 2025, no party won a clear majority in the German Parliament, with a coalition government led by the CDU the most likely scenario. Based on the results, the CDU could form a coalition with the SPD, but also may have the option of forming one with the Die Grünen. Although they could form a coalition with the AfD party, the CDU leadership have ruled this out.
