Among the respondents, 77 percent were single people, seven percent were in a relationship, 0.7 percent were preparing for the marriage, 11 were married, and 3.8 percent were divorced individuals. Age distribution revealed that 56.3 percent were born after 2000, 39.9 percent between 1990 and 1999, and 3.8 percent before 1990.Â

According to a 2025 survey, most people in China considered a wedding necessary for marriage, with percent of respondents insisting on hosting a grand event, and percent of respondents prefering a small celebration. Meanwhile, over percent of respondents expressed strong opposition to this matter.
