In November 2024, ** percent of French respondents favored a censure against the Prime Minister and his government, after their Social Security budget proposal. The government left with no majority in the Assembly after the legislative elections of June 2024, is expected to use the **** article of the Constitution to pass the Social Security financing bill. This article allows the Prime Minister to engage the government's responsibility and adopt a reform without facing the Parliament's vote. After the use of this article, the Assembly can decide to vote on a motion of censure, which would force the government to resign.
