Cryptocurrency was an unlikely payment method for online shopping in 2024, with Gen Z using it only as much as their older counterparts. This is according to a survey conducted in 14 countries across North America, Europe, and Latin America. The source did not survey in Asia, Africa, or the Middle East, which could have impacted the results shown here. Nevertheless, usage was very low across all age groups.
