The United Kingdom was the European country with the highest offshore wind energy production in 2024. In that year, the UK generated some 49 terawatt hours of electricity using offshore wind. Germany followed with an offshore wind production of over 25 terawatt hours. In total, Europe produced more than 94 terawatt hours of offshore wind power in 2022.Â
