The total operating income of the EU banking sector fluctuated during the period under observation, with an overall upward trend in recent years. The lowest value of operating income was reported in 2020, at 561.27 billion euros. Between 2020 and 2024, the operating income increased annually, reaching 803.77 billion euros in 2024.
