Question is regarding fully electric vehicles, not utilizing other fuel sources.
The source showed the following text on the same screen as the question: "The experience of owning an electric-only vehicle is quite different than owning a gasoline-powered vehicle. Some differences include charging vs. fueling, the frequency of maintenance/repairs, costs involved with buying, owning, and maintaining the vehicle, etc. For this next question we would like to understand your level of familiarity with electric-only vehicles."

In July 2023, most consumers in the United States were not fully familiar with the fundamentals of owning a battery-electric vehicle. Around a third defined themselves as somewhat familiar with the vehicle type, while ** percent answered they were not too familiar with them. The lowest percentage went to those answering they were very familiar with the fundamentals of BEV ownership, only receiving ** percent of responses.
