The source analyzed the inventories of 82,000 new and used car dealers in November 2023, excluding low-volume dealers and Tesla direct sales (showrooms/online sales). The proportion of dealers offering electric vehicles and their market shares were calculated for both new and used electric vehicles (excluding new Teslas) in each state and the top 50 metro areas.
