The Socialist People's Party received the highest share of the votes in Denmark during the 2024 election for the European Parliament. The left-wing party saw an increase of its support of over four percentage points. Meanwhile, the Social Democrats, who currently lead a coalition government in the country, lost almost six percentage points of its share of the votes from 2019. Meanwhile, the Liberal Party saw an even larger loss. Denmark holds 15 of the 720 seats in the European Parliament.
