The number of global daily active users (DAU) of the role-playing fantasy game Elden Ring saw an increase in February 2024, which coincided with the release of the trailer of a new expansion of the game on February 21. While the game reported around half a million DAU around February 14, this number jumped to 1.29 million daily users only four days after the trailer release. The number of DAU remained relatively steady, and reached a new peak of 1.39 million users on March 3. Elden Ring is a critical and commercial success, having sold more than 23 million units as of February 2024.
