The monitoring program covers nine express service enterprises, including China Post EMS, SF Express, ZTO Express, YTO Express, Yunda Express, STO Express, JD Logistics, Deppon Express, and J&T Express.
The survey was conducted in 50 cities, including the municipalities of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, 27 provincial capitals, and 19 cities with high express delivery volumes.

72-hour delivery rate of express delivery services in key areas in China 2019-2024
In 2024, more than ** parcels sent through express delivery services in China were delivered within 72 hours. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent travel restrictions, courier services in the country became significantly slower between 2020 and 2022. Every year, the regulatory authorities in China conduct large-scale online surveys and random tests to monitor the service of the country's major courier service providers.
