The monitoring program covers nine express service enterprises, including China Post EMS, SF Express, ZTO Express, YTO Express, Yunda Express, STO Express, JD Logistics, Deppon Express, and J&T Express.
The survey was conducted in 50 cities, including the municipalities of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, 27 provincial capitals, and 19 cities with high express delivery volumes.

Average delivery speed of courier services in key areas in China 2019-2024
In 2024, the average delivery time of courier companies in key regions in China was shortened by more than two hours to hours. Between 2020 and 2022, express delivery services in the country became significantly slower due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent travel restrictions. Every year, the regulatory authorities in China conduct large-scale online surveys and random tests to monitor the service of the country's major courier companies.
