*The classic way to make "Kokkaffe" is to boil coffee with water in a pot. After the black-brown powder has sunk to the bottom of the jug, the finished drink can be carefully poured into a cup. "Kokkaffe" is ground a little coarser so that the powder can settle better at the bottom. Typically Swedish and very traditional, this type of coffee is cooked on an open fire in the middle of nature.

Most popular coffee types among consumers in Sweden 2024, by age group
In June 2024, a survey found that most Swedish respondents usually drink filter coffee. In fact, it was stated by around ** percent of all generations. What's interesting is that no age group said they usually drink iced coffee, except for ****, percent of 18-29 year olds, as well as *** percent of 30-49 year olds.
