The survey was conducted through Coop Analyze's Mad-o-Meter. It compares consumer surveys, sales figures from stores, and informal interviews. Overall, the Mad-o-Meter database has collected more than 100,000 surveys. 500 informants are selected weekly by Coop Analyze to describe what they have consumed within 24 hours.Â
