By the end of 2024, Reddit reported having 2,233 full-time employees, compared to the 2,013 reported during the previous year. In 2023, the platform reported the number of volunteer moderators active on the platforms daily was of approximately 60,000. Moderators are not employees of Reddit. After almost 20 years from its launch, Reddit filed its S-1 income registration statement on February 22, 2024. The online forum and news aggregator is preparing to go public with a recommended valuation of approximately five billion U.S. dollars, after generating around 1.3 billion U.S. dollars in revenues in 2024.
