The sample distribution is based on the results of the National Survey on Securities Investment (Individual Survey) conducted in FY2021, so that the overall figures reflect the actual status of securities holders in Japan in terms of gender and age.

In a survey conducted in July 2024, over **** of securities holders in Japan reported not knowing about ESG investing. Around **** percent had already made ESG investments. ESG investing refers to the consideration of environmental, social, and governance factors in investment decisions.
