According to a 2022 survey of parents in the United Kingdom, 55 percent of parents with male children reported being aware that some major mobile phone networks offer an age verification process for users to access adult content. In comparison, 57 percent of parents with female children reported the same. Overall, awareness of this safety and parental control feature was present in over half of the interviewed parents.
