In a survey conducted about Christmas shopping expectations among Australian consumers from July to August 2023, just over ** percent of respondents in the ** to ** age category said they planned to spend less during the 2023 holiday period. Around two-fifths of respondents in this age category indicated that they expected to spend about the same amount as they had in 2022.
