Net interest income of the banking industry in the Netherlands 2014-2024
The net interest income of the Dutch banking sector declined slightly in 2024 but remained well above the levels recorded between 2014 and 2022. In 2024, net interest income totaled 40.67 billion euros, down from 41.19 billion euros in 2023. The 2023 figure was the highest in the observed period, representing a sharp increase compared to previous years.
