Based on emissions of the EU MRV fleet. EU-MRV is an EU regulation on the monitoring, reporting, and verification of carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚) emissions from maritime transport entering and leaving European Economic Area (EEA) ports when transporting goods or passengers for commercial purposes. For example, EU-MRV covers emissions from a ship that goes from Rotterdam to Shanghai and the emissions produced when a ship sails from Shanghai to Rotterdam. However, this excludes emissions if a ship makes a stop at another port outside the EEA for cargo or passenger operations. In this scenario, only emissions from the last leg will be reported.
All emission data is entered by Companies and confirmed by Verifiers accredited by EU Member States National Accreditation BodiesÂ
