Section 230 is a legal provision that provides immunity for tech companies with respect to content generated by its users. Overall, ** percent of respondents stated that they had neither seen, read, or heard anything about Section 230. The majority of U.S. adults believed that companies should be responsible for some or all content posted on their platforms.
