As of May 2022, over half of surveyed alternative social media news consumers stated they found in online spaces such as Truth Social, Parler, or Rumble news and information that they did not find on any other platform. Only 16 percent of respondents reported they rarely or never see news they wouldn't have seen somewhere else on alternative social media platforms.
