According to a May 2022 online survey conducted in the United States, approximately three percent of U.S. users with a household income of over 100,000 U.S. dollars were registered on the right-wing social media platform Gab. Launched in 2016, Gab is part of the alt-tech online media galaxy and has been subjected to public scrutiny for its lack of content moderation.
