Support for tax increases on the richest households to fund pensions in France 2022

In September 2022, more than three out of five people in France (** percent) supported a tax increase for the wealthiest households in order to finance the pension system. This measure was more popular among sympathizers of left-wing and far-left parties: about four out of five people were in favor of it among supporters of France Insoumise and Europe Ecologie - Les Verts, as well as ** percent of supporters of the Parti Socialiste. Those most opposed to the tax increase were sympathizers of the presidential majority (** percent in favor), those of the Les Républicains party (** percent), and those of the party created by Eric Zemmour (** percent).
