France excluding Mayotte; people living in ordinary households
Supplementary notes
* According to the , "In the statistical sense of the term, composite households are defined in comparison to the other types of households. They are the households that are not the ones that include only one person nor the ones that include only one family (a family is composed by a couple, with or without children, and single families).
Composite households include more than one family or several isolated individuals living together, or any other combination of isolated individuals and families.
These households are described as composite ones because the types of relation between the people (couples, parents/children, friends, etc.) are various; they include, among others, households in which several generations hare the same dwelling, as well as roommates. It is thus difficult to establish a standard configuration of these households."
The source adds the following information: "A person is in severe poverty if they are both in severe monetary poverty (standard of living below 50% of the French median standard of living) and material and social deprivation (at least seven out of 13 deprivations). "
