Citation formats

Engagement with news on the Russia-Ukraine war occurred mostly via television or online outlets in five selected markets in a global study, and German consumers were most likely to get updates on the war via television, with 46 percent saying they did so. Meanwhile, more than 20 percent of Brazilian respondents paid most attention to social media for news on the matter, compared to just six percent of Germans. Indeed, German respondents were overall less inclined to get updates via online news outlets, and along with Polish audiences, the most likely to have used radio as their main news source for updates on the Russia-Ukraine invasion.
