Eric Zemmour is a French journalist, polemicist, and far-right politician. At the end of 2021, he announced his candidacy for the presidential election of 2022.
While he somewhat dominated the campaign from a media point of view, imposing identity and nationalist themes, and peaking at ** percent in the polls, he failed to reach the second round, with a score of percent of votes cast.
It is in the regions of Île de France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur that he obtained the largest number of votes.
