The NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament, also known as March Madness, is an annual knockout tournament between the best college basketball teams in the United States. While some fans enjoy just watching the games, others also choose to bet on them with the potential to earn money or goods. In 2026, it was estimated that 3.3 billion U.S. dollars would be bet on March Madness in the U.S., showing a margnial increase when compared to the previous year's estimate. However, it remained way below the figure recorded in 2023.
