NCAA March Madness is a single elimination contest for college basketball teams. The tournament takes place each spring and is one of the most popular sporting events in the United States. As of 2024, the most individual points scored in a single tournament was achieved by Michigan's Glen Rice, who scored 184 points across six games in the 1989 edition of the event.
