In April 2021, with the release of iOS ****, Apple introduced the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework for developers. The framework, which is required to access users' Identifier For Advertisers (IFDA), gives users' the freedom to enable or disable tracking.
According to a survey of app publishers carried out in 2021, ** percent of respondents reported it was too soon to assess properly the impact of ATT adoption on advertising revenues. By comparison, ** percent of respondents saw a drop between ** percent and ** percent in their iOS ad revenue.
