According to a survey carried out in November 2021 in both Guatemala and Mexico among immigrants from different Latin American countries, a greater difficulty to move around inside countries have been the biggest impact of the coronavirus crisis in their migration journey, with 34 percent of respondents saying this. On the other hand, 27 percent of respondents claimed that the pandemic had not had any impact on their migration plans.
