In 2021, a survey showed that ** percent of Colombians believed that immigrants take jobs away from real Colombia’s nationals. Around ** percent of Peruvian respondents also agreed with this statement. Colombians had also the highest percentage among selected Latin American countries on respondents agreeing that their country would be stronger if it stopped immigration.
